Adult Bible Study

Good Shepherd Adult Bible Study learning each year (Sept. – June) unfolds one book of Scripture from the Old or New Testament, or a focused topic using a variety of passages from the Old Testament and New Testament.

We read passages and commentary aloud so we experience oral tradition in the tradition of Lectio Divina. Then everyone gets a chance to share how Scripture touches their spirit and soul through dialogue and conversational exchange in diverse and varied ways. Questions are posed to stir one’s thoughts, imagination and learning about how Scripture acts in their lives.

• Saturday classes (10-11:30 AM) are in-person.
• Monday evening classes (7-8:30 PM) are by video conference. Contact us for the link.
• Meetings are bi-weekly with holiday breaks at Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter.
• This year’s textbook is available at the Parish Office for $18.00
