Liturgy Committee

The Liturgy Committee is made up of leaders of the various parish liturgical ministries and other parishioners. They are responsible for setting guidelines and planning for major celebrations to help the community enjoy a positive and inviting worship experience through full, conscious and active participation in the liturgy.

The Liturgy Committee participates in learning and formation to deepen their understanding of the principles of good liturgy. They review parish celebrations for ways to improve upon our public worship and coordinate the training of liturgical ministers. The committee establishes new ministries as necessary and reviews liturgical guidelines of the local and universal Church to ensure appropriate implementation in our parish.

Those interested in serving on the Liturgy Committee must have a love for liturgy and learning. All the members must be open to learning from workshops, readings and each other. Members must be able to grow in consensus building. If you are interested in serving on this committee, you may contact the parish office.
