Welcome to Church of the Good Shepherd

Christ Has Risen!

Easter Greetings from all of us here at the Church of the Good Shepherd.  We hope you were able to join us for services whether in-person or online and that your Easter was filled with love and blessings.

I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone for their tremendous generosity over the past year.  During this pandemic, your contributions have made it possible for us to meet our financial obligations.  Additionally, many generous souls have stepped-up to assist our homeless outreach, Feed My Poor.  Your financial support has enabled us to distribute approximately 250,000 meals and countless amounts of fresh fruit and bottled water.  Without your support this would not have been possible.

Tragically, the homeless population has increased by 25% due to the economic downturn of the last year.  The result - every day 4 homeless people die in Los Angeles County alone.  In response to this crisis I have formed Feed My Poor as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and leased a food truck so we could offer even more nutritious meals to our starving brothers and sisters.

In this season of Easter, I am reaching out to everyone to join us in this life saving outreach by committing to at least $20 a month to Feed My Poor.  Please use our secure online giving page or mail your check to the parish payable to Feed My Poor, Inc.

Please know that you are literally saving lives when you give to Feed My Poor If you have any questions please feel free to email or contact our office during business hours.
